WHY:
We want to help transform the dominant story about trans* people and gender transition (whatever that looks like for the individual). We seek stories of strength, determination, resilience and hope. We want to share your inspiration with those considering or struggling with gender transition . Quite frankly, we're just as tired as you are of the inaccurate, "negative transition story" -- it needs to change.
WHAT:
We want to speak with trans* people from across the gender spectrum who are generally satisfied with their lives. Some participants may be asked to take part in on-camera interviews.
WHERE:
Individuals from anywhere in Canada are invited to contact us.
Initial interviews will take place in-person, over Skype/Facetime or by telephone.
WHEN:
Research interviews are now underway. Filming of select interviews will take place in the winter of 2014.
